Diagnostic Imaging Services

X-Ray

Our X-ray equipment meets all of the current digital standards. We have 2 dedicated x-ray rooms, one of which is U-arm technology that allows a majority of imaging to be performed in a standing or sitting position. Our portable unit can be used for patients in emergeny situations.

Computed Tomography (CT)

We provide all CT and CTA imaging services including Coronary CTA (CCTA) with our 64-slice scanner. We also provide Low Dose Lung CT (LDLCT) services in association with Moncrief Cancer Institute.

Remember F.A.S.T.

Face – ask the person to try to smile, is there smile drooping on one side?

Arms – ask them to raise both arms. Does either arm drift down as they do?

Speech – is the person exhibiting slurred speech? Having trouble repeating simple phrases or understanding you?

Time – Time is of the essence. If you believe a person may be suffering from stroke symptoms call 911 and get them to a hospital as soon as you possibly can.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Our 1.5 Tesla magnet is capable of producing high quality images of the musculoskeleton, brain, spine, and soft tissues.

Ultrasound/Echocardiogram

Our ultrasound equipment is capable of performing cardiac, vascular, breast, and general ultrasound exams.

Nuclear Medicine

One of the most unique modalities that we have here at CCMC is our Nuclear Medicine department. This equipment is capable of nuclear cardiac stress workups, bone scans, biliary scans, and many other physiological tests.

Bone Densitometry (DEXA)

DEXA equipment is used to diagnose osteoporosis. Bone health is particularly important post-menopausal women and in the elderly.

Mammography

We provide screening and diagnostic mammography services with our digital mammography equipment. We recently installed a Hologic Selenia Demensions mammography unit that is capable of producing 2D as well as 3D tomosynthesis images. We are also partnered with Moncrief Cancer Institute by providing mammography services for non-insured and under-insured patients.
